Rosa Batters Houston for 5 Hits Saturday, June 26th, 2021 It was a sensational day at the plate for Detroit Tigers right fielder Ricardo Rosa, but a tough one for the team, as the Tigers dropped the contest 6-5 to the Houston Astros. Even with the loss, Rosa was pure misery for the Houston pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked after going 5-for-5 in an explosive display of hitting. "It's always good to get a bunch of hits in a game, but you also want to win," said Rosa, who is the 23-year old right fielder . "Rosa really hit the ball hard and when you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage," Astros manager Adrian Beltre told BNN reporters after the game. "I feel like we threw him some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Ricardo Rosa singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th. Rosa is batting .254 with 1 home runs and 10 RBIs this season.
