Colorado-Washington Trade: Parker for White Tuesday, June 29th, 2021 The Baseball News Network is reporting that the Rockies and Nationals have consummated a trade. Washington will receive 32-year-old minor league LF Leandro Castro, 28-year-old minor league RHP Angel Mata, 32-year-old minor league RHP Jarrod Parker and 29-year-old minor league RHP Bryan Escanio in a swap for 26-year-old minor league CF Jim White. A league analyst called the trade a "fairly even transaction." Thus far in his career, Parker has worked 1255.2 innings with 977 strikeouts en route to a 70-69 record. The 32-year-old also has a 3.86 ERA. This year White is batting .247 with 3 home runs and 24 RBIs. In 52 games he has scored 13 times. |
