Kamida's Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Wednesday, August 25th, 2021 Philadelphia first baseman Ryobe Kamida keeps on racking up hits every time he plays. His hitting streak now stands at 20 games after collecting 1 hit at Citizens Bank Park today. The Phillies took the 5-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays. "I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," Kamida said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky." Ryobe Kamida doubled in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. This season Kamida is batting .287 with 25 home runs. |
