Big Bat Pays Off, Guzman Player of the Week Monday, September 6th, 2021 At the age of 26, Ronald Guzman might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The St. Louis first baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .625 batting average. For his efforts Guzman collected the National League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 15 hits in 24 at-bats, 3 home runs and 10 RBIs last week in 6 games. This year Guzman has hit at a .275 clip with 84 hits, 16 home runs, 40 RBIs and 44 runs scored. |
