Dreadful Season Sees Playoff Hopes Dashed for Oakland Saturday, September 11th, 2021 Dylan Carlson said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Oakland Athletics after they missed the MLB Pro playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. This is the 8th time in a row that the Athletics have missed the playoffs.Their last payoff appearance was in 2013. |
