Atlanta Win Divisional Series Wednesday, October 13th, 2021 The Atlanta Braves are riding high after winning the Divisional Series and eliminating the Arizona Diamondbacks by a series score of 3-1. The final blow came tonight at SunTrust Park, when Atlanta secured its spot in the League Championship Series with a 4-2 victory. "It feels good to put them away because we really didn't want to let them crawl back into this series," said center fielder Mike Ogden, who was named series MVP. "A team like that, you need to bury them when you get the chance." Ogden certainly helped his team's cause, as he hit .353 with a .353 on-base percentage in the series. He also chipped in 1 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Atlanta Braves don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Pittsburgh Pirates - Milwaukee Brewers series. Milwaukee leads the series 2 game to 1.
