Cantu Ousted as Manager; Gwinnett Begins Search Wednesday, May 25th , 2022 Gwinnett Stripers manager Jorge Cantu was sent packing today. The firing of Cantu was confirmed by club GM Joe Unknown at a brief press conference in Gwinnett. There was no mention of possible replacements. BNN was told by sources in the Stripers organization that the interview process would begin immediately and they hope to fill the position in a matter of days. |
