Foster Raps Charlotte for 5 Hits Monday, June 29th, 2020 The 5th time is the charm -- at least for Ron Foster. The first baseman for the Scranton WB RailRiders hit the milestone today against the Charlotte Knights, helping his club to a narrow 7-6 victory. Foster finished with a 5-for-8 line at the plate. "Foster was a tough out today," Charlotte manager Dallas McPherson said to the press in the postgame interview. "If it weren't for him, I think we had this one." Ron Foster flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 7th, walked in the 9th, grounded out in the 12th, singled in the 15th, walked in the 17th, grounded out in the 20th and doubled in the 22nd.
