Norfolk Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Monday, August 24th, 2020 Even the most die-hard fans of the Norfolk Tides will likely now start focusing on next year. The team was today mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. "We're disappointed," said Tides reliever Wes Clark. "Not just for ourselves, but also for the fans that stick with us every year." This is the 9th time in a row that the Tides have missed the playoffs.They have yet to make the playoffs in their history. |
