IL Player of the Week Chosen Monday, August 31st, 2020 So far in his young career, Larry Salinas has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the International League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 25-year-old Indianapolis Indians catcher hit at a torrid .417 clip as he collected 10 hits in 24 at-bats, 4 home runs, 15 RBIs and 6 runs scored. For the season Salinas is hitting .287, batted in 42 runs with 12 home runs and 33 runs scored. |
