Pitcher of the Year Award Presented to Gwinnett Star Monday, October 5th, 2020 Scott Meeligan of the Gwinnett Braves outdid his pitching peers this year and has been honored with the 2020 International League Pitcher of the Year Award. During his remarkable year Meeligan posted a 9-7 record in 23 starts. In 133.2 innings he yielded 97 hits and 49 walks while striking out 119 and compiling a fine 2.15 ERA. He received 10 first place votes out of a possible 14. Rubby de la Rosa of the Charlotte Knights finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Drew Childs of the Buffalo Bisons finished third.
