Memphis Starter Selected Best Pitcher Saturday, August 1st, 2020 There's something about a young rookie winning the American Conference Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Jeriome Hill, a 25-year-old starter for the Memphis Redbirds. In July, he topped off the month with a 5-1 mark and 2.83 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 35 innings, fanned 14 and held opposing teams to a .223 average. This year Hill has a 9-6 record with a 4.23 ERA. |
