Rock Cats Come up Short of Playoffs Tuesday, September 6th , 2022 The New Britain Rock Cats season has ultimately ended in disappointment. After staying in the hunt until the final days of the season, New Britain has now been officially eliminated from playoff qualification. "We were so close," reliever Holden Powell said wistfully. This is the 1st time in a row that the Rock Cats have missed the playoffs.Their last payoff appearance was in 2021.New Britain has won the Championship 3 times in their history. |
