SL Star of the Week Picked Monday, April 25th , 2022 So far in his young career, Manuel Rubiales has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Southern League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Mobile BayBears third baseman hit at a torrid .364 clip as he collected 8 hits in 22 at-bats, 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 6 runs scored. Currently Rubiales is batting .345 with 3 home runs and 11 RBIs. |
