West 5-for-5 Against Blue Wahoos Wednesday, July 1st, 2020 5 times is the charm -- at least for Jarred West. The Mississippi Braves right fielder tore up the Pensacola Blue Wahoos to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Pensacola Bayfront Stadium today. The offensive onslaught from West powered the Braves to a 4-2 win. "West was a tough out today," Pensacola manager Bob Geren said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Jarred West singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
