Biscuits Allen and Lookouts Baz Suspended for Fight Tuesday, July 28th, 2020 After an intense confrontation, both the Biscuits John Allen and the Lookouts Shane Baz were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Montgomery-Chattanooga game. John Allen will miss 4 games, while Shane Baz was suspended for 6 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," John Allen commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." This year Allen is hitting at a .267 pace with no home runs and 36 RBIs. He has played in 73 games and scored 26 times. In the current season in 21 starts, Shane Baz has a record of 7-5 with 102 strikeouts in 114.1 innings and a 3.07 ERA. |
