Arthur Hits in 20 Straight Games Wednesday, August 19th, 2020 Chalk up another one for Tennessee Smokies left fielder Greg Arthur. He now has hit in 20 straight games. Arthur went 1-for-3 today's game at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium but saw his club defeated 2-1 by the host Montgomery Biscuits. "Playing on the road always makes it harder to get hits and to get wins," Smokies manager Jacque Jones said after the game. "We got one of the two, but unfortunately it was the wrong one." Greg Arthur flied out in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Tyler Dyson in the 5th and grounded out in the 7th. This year Arthur has hit at a .366 pace and produced 41 RBIs, 10 home runs and scored 32 runs. |
