Jackson Loses Cherry for Season Thursday, August 20th, 2020 Obviously disappointed, Al Cherry confirmed today that his season is officially over. The Jackson reliever offered mostly monosyllabic responses to reporters. "Nope," he said, when asked if he might possibly return this year. The 22-year-old Cherry suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament on 08/17/2020 and has been out of action since. Season-to-date Cherry has 1 save in 24 relief appearances with a 2-1 record and 3.05 ERA. |
