Pensacola Loses van Rhee for Season Thursday, May 25th , 2023 Neal van Rhee, the Pensacola reliever, was less than thrilled to learn that his recent injury would keep him out of the rest of the season and any postseason action. "The playoffs?" he said. "Are you kidding me? The playoffs?" van Rhee has a torn labrum, an injury that has hampered him since 05/21/2023. His stats sheet for the year shows van Rhee has managed to hold opponents to a .267 average in 16 relief appearances, while putting up 0-1 record with 15 strikeouts and 12 walks in 11.2 innings. He has a 3.09 ERA with no saves. |
