Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Drury Monday, June 14th, 2021 Birmingham lost to the Chattanooga Lookouts 4-3 at Regions Field today, but Brandon Drury kept his consecutive-game hitting streak alive with 1 hit. The Barons third baseman has now delivered hits in 20 straight games. "Brandon has a nice streak going, but the scoreboard tells the important story today," Birmingham manager Orlando Hudson told reporters after the game. "We lost, no matter how many hits anyone had." Brandon Drury grounded out in the 2nd, hit a sac fly in the 4th and singled in the 6th. So far this season Drury is batting .440 with 4 home runs. |
