Madrigal Raps Mobile for 5 Hits Monday, June 28th, 2021 There are moments in a player's career that they will not soon forget. Nick Madrigal of the Mississippi Braves had one such moment at Hank Aaron Stadium today, when he went 5 for 6 at the plate. His hitting heroics weren't enough to pull out the victory, however, and Mississippi fell to a 5-4 defeat to the Mobile BayBears. "This was quite a day for me individually, but a little disheartening at the same time," the 24-year-old second baseman told reporters in the postgame interview. "It would have been very special if we had won the game." Nick Madrigal singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, singled in the 7th, struck out in the 9th and singled in the 11th.
