Baldwin Tags Lookouts for 5 Hits Monday, July 5th, 2021 It seemed that Tennessee first baseman Marty Baldwin could do no wrong as the Smokies KO'd the Lookouts, 10-9 today. Baldwin rapped out 5 hits in 5 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Lookouts hurlers were throwing. "I think the Smokies were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Chattanooga fan after the game. "I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Baldwin in the postgame press interview. Marty Baldwin hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, walked in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off Germán León in the 10th.
