He led the Mississippi Braves to victory 7-0, blanking the Pensacola Blue Wahoos on 2 hits. He had 3 walks and 7 strikeouts. "You know what he's going to throw. You know what to expect. And you still can't hit it," Pensacola skipper Shawn Stiffler told reporters after the shutout loss. "He just had a real deceptive fastball today and he was throwing it for strikes."
