Lookouts Blank Jackson, León Winner Monday, August 30th, 2021 It wasn't easy but the Chattanooga Lookouts made it look that way. Starter Germán León shut out the Jackson Generals despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Chattanooga Lookouts cruised to victory, 6-0. León allowed only 12 hits and rang up 6 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up." To date this year León has saved 26 games while tossing 86 innings. He has a 2.41 ERA, fanned 73 batters and made 42 relief appearances. View Boxscore |
