Bobby Witt Jr. is August's #1 Hitter in SL Wednesday, September 1st, 2021 Even though he is a newcomer to Southern League, Bobby Witt Jr. put up some good numbers in August and earned the SL Batter of the Month award. He was one of Montgomery's offensive leaders with a .306 average in 27 games. He also racked up 5 home runs, 25 RBIs, and 14 runs scored. So far this season Witt Jr. is hitting .272 with 12 home runs, 55 RBIs and 38 runs scored. He has 85 hits in 313 at-bats and a .326 OBP. |
