Player of the Week: Davis of the Smokies Monday, August 28th , 2023 So far in his young career, Brennen Davis has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Southern League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Tennessee Smokies center fielder hit at a torrid .444 clip as he collected 12 hits in 27 at-bats, 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and 6 runs scored. Davis is hitting .283 this season with 13 home runs, 44 RBIs and 52 runs scored. He has 86 hits in 304 at-bats. |
