Southern League Announces August's Best Batter Friday, September 1st , 2023 When Brennen Davis stepped up to the plate in August he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the Southern League Batter of the Month award. The young Tennessee center fielder posted a .343 batting average with 5 home runs, 20 RBIs and scored 22 runs. Davis also worked pitchers for 11 walks to post a .403 on-base percentage. Looking at his stats this year, Davis has compiled a .288 batting average, while hitting 13 home runs and driving in 48 runs. He has played in 78 games and scored 54 runs. |
