Great July Gets Erstad TEX Best Hitter Award Sunday, August 1st, 2021 When Zack Erstad stepped up to the plate in July he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the Texas League Batter of the Month award. The young Arkansas center fielder posted a .350 batting average with 6 home runs, 20 RBIs and scored 11 runs. Erstad also worked pitchers for 7 walks to post a .404 on-base percentage. Presently Erstad is hitting .330 with 13 home runs and 68 RBIs. He has played in 95 games and scored 45 times. |
