JetHawks Reliever Cops Pitching Award Wednesday, June 1st , 2022 The Pitcher of the Month Award has been chosen and the California League winner is Lancaster bullpen specialist, Tony Leal. For his excellent work in May he has been named the league's best pitcher. During the month, he excelled with no saves in no save opportunities, a 2.10 ERA and 4 wins and no losses. In 30 innings Leal struck out 34 and gave up 25 hits and 2 walks. So far this season Leal has picked up no saves in no relief appearances. He has also compiled a 5-1 won-lost mark with a 2.29 ERA and fanned 64 batters in 59 innings. |
