Free-for-All Costs Curtis and Murata 4-Game Suspensions Friday, September 4th, 2020 The league office advised San Jose and Stockton that they had issued 4-game suspensions to Michael Curtis and Takeji Murata. They were disciplined for being the major antagonists in yesterday's free-for-all at San Jose Municipal Stadium. Presently Curtis is batting .305 and has collected 16 home runs, 66 RBIs, .359 OBP and scored 79 runs. Taking a look at his season stats for 2020, Murata has made 50 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 1-4 won-lost mark with a 4.97 ERA. In pitching 79.2 innings, he has totaled 70 strikeouts and 43 walks. |
