Jim White of the Modesto Nuts had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Hitter of the Year Award for 2022.

The 28-year-old center fielder put up a .318 average and a .420 on-base percentage, piling up 142 hits, 26 doubles, 3 triples, 18 home runs, 77 RBIs and 74 runs scored.

He received 8 first place votes out of a possible 10. Mac Jones of the Inland Empire 66ers finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Jeffrey Anderson of the High Desert Mavericks finished third with 1 first place vote.
