CAR's Best Batter Selected Friday, September 1st , 2023 For a rookie just breaking in, Robert Hassell III certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the CAR Batter of the Month award for August. The 22-year-old left fielder for the Fredericksburg Nationals hit .344 with 4 home runs, 11 RBIs and 14 runs scored. To date Hassell III has chalked up a .333 average with 5 home runs, driven in 13 runs and scored 20 times. |
