Season Ends for Escobar Wednesday, May 20th, 2020 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Bradenton's Luis Escobar to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 05/16/2020 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Escobar said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Escobar has been out of action since he suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament. This season Escobar has compiled a 2-2 mark, 2.97 ERA and made 7 starts. |
