The Dunedin shortstop just broke into the majors this year and now the Florida State League has just picked him as its top hitter for June. In 24 games last month this outstanding rookie batted .303 with 4 home runs, 14 RBIs and 22 runs scored. Smith is currently batting .264 with 5 home runs and 27 RBIs. |
