The 20-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led the Hammerheads to a 7-4 triumph over Palm Beach. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Kelly said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Chase Kelly hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
