Castner Torches Cardinals for 5 Hits Tuesday, June 1st, 2021 Fort Myers center fielder Kyle Castner had a big day at Hammond Stadium today against the Palm Beach Cardinals. The 23-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led the Mighty Mussels to a 7-3 triumph over Palm Beach. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Castner said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Kyle Castner singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
