Gamble Stands Out, Choice for Best Pitcher Sunday, August 1st, 2021 In July Charlotte starter Larry Gamble confused hitters all month long. Last month's Florida State League Pitcher of the Month took home the trophy as he collected a 5-0 record in 6 starts. The 27-year-old Gamble added 28 strikeouts in 38 innings and 12 walks to his season record and compiled a 1.89 ERA. Other clubs hit .209 against him. This year Gamble has worked 128 innings with 85 strikeouts en route to a 12-4 record and a 3.30 ERA. |
