Player of the Week: Clearwater's Miller Monday, August 30th, 2021 Tom Miller must have thought he was dreaming. First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .500 clip, then the Clearwater shortstop finds out he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the FLO Player of the Week Award. He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too." For the week Miller batted .500 (11-for-22) with 1 home run and 4 RBIs. During the current season Miller is batting at a .291 clip with 4 home runs and 37 RBIs. He has played in 93 games and scored 46 times. |
