McCain on Fire: 5-for-6 for Florida Thursday, August 10th , 2023 Damian McCain of the Florida Fire Frogs went on a hitting spree today against the Bradenton Marauders pitching staff, racking up 5 hits in 6 at-bats, but to no avail -- the Marauders put a damper on his day and prevailed 5-4 over the Fire Frogs. "It was a heck of a day and I was kind of looking forward to a better ending than that," he said later. Damian McCain singled in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th, doubled in the 11th and flied out in the 13th.
