Season Done for Martínez Tuesday, August 15th , 2023 Jesús Martínez has to call it a season. The Fort Myers Mighty Mussels center fielder learned today that the full extent his injury suffered on 08/12/2023 is worse than hoped. He will not play again this year according to club doctors, who diagnosed the injury as a ruptured achilles tendon and stated that he would not be able to play for 6 months. The team will likely place Martínez on the injured list today. Martínez is currently batting .211 with 3 home runs and 23 RBIs. |
