Mets Advance to Championship Sunday, September 10th , 2023 Jacob Teter wore out opposing pitchers en route to being named Round 1 MVP. The star's St. Lucie Mets defeated the Charlotte Stone Crabs by a series score of 3-1 to advance to the Championship. St. Lucie won the final game by a 4-3 count in front of a raucous crowd at Osceola County Stadium. Teter hit .333 with a .333 on-base percentage in the series, while also adding 1 home runs, driving in 6 RBI and scoring 1 runs. "Just trying to do my job, that's all there is too it," said Teter. The St. Lucie Mets don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Daytona Tortugas - Lakeland Flying Tigers series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece.
