Mikulski of Lake County Named Best Pitcher Saturday, September 30th , 2023 This year Matt Mikulski was the premier pitcher in the Midwest League. He dominated enemy batters to win the league's Pitcher of the Year Award. Lake County's star reliever limited opposing teams to a .182 average and put up 2 saves and 121 strikeouts in 91 innings with a 4-0 record and a 1.88 ERA. He received 8 first place votes out of a possible 16.
