Ramirez Rips Quad Cities for 5 Hits Saturday, July 23rd , 2022 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Beloit's Ben Ramirez made it happen today against the River Bandits. Everything came together at the plate for the 23-year-old shortstop as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the Snappers to a 10-4 win at Harry C. Pohlman Field. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Ramirez said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Ben Ramirez hit an RBI single in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
