Meadows Belts Bunch of Base Hits Thursday, August 27th, 2020 A big day at bat for Parker Meadows of the Peoria Chiefs still ended with a loss. The Peoria left fielder did all he could do, going 5-for-5, but it was not enough to overcome the Cedar Rapids Kernels. They triumphed over Peoria 7-5 at Dozer Park. Parker Meadows doubled in the 1st, was hit by a pitch in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
