This season's Midwest League Pitcher of the Year Award trophy went to Jake Mills, the ace of the Burlington pitching staff.

He dominated all season, finishing with 14 wins and 4 losses and a 2.19 ERA. In 27 starts he worked a total of 164.1 innings, striking out 186, while walking 35. Other clubs managed to hit only .225 against him.

He received 10 first place votes out of a possible 16. Tyson Byron-Fields of the Great Lakes Loons finished second in voting with 6 first place votes, while Daniel Braun of the Fort Wayne TinCaps finished third.
