Players Suspended in Timber Rattlers-Kernels Donnybrook Thursday, April 27th , 2023 Jason McCourt of Wisconsin and Júlio Hernández of Cedar Rapids were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. McCourt will have to miss 5 games for his part in the brawl, while Hernández was given 3 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. Currently McCourt is batting .203 with no home runs, 8 RBIs and 9 runs scored. Hernández has taken the mound for 5 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 0-0 record with a 1.12 ERA. The Cedar Rapids reliever has limited opposing batters to a .286 batting average. |
