McLaughlin Nixes Baseball, Will Enter Basketball Draft Thursday, January 4th , 2024 Lexington multi-sport star Mark McLaughlin has decided to discontinue his baseball career and focus full-time on his basketball career. Despite his love of baseball, McLaughlin says he likes his prospects on the hardwood better than the diamond. "It was a tough decision, but I think this is the right one for me," said the Legends reliever. McLaughlin, considered to be a standout power forward, is projected as a 1st round pick in the upcoming pro basketball draft. |
