Great Day for Urbina -- 5 Hits Thursday, April 7th , 2022 Hickory center fielder Misael Urbina had a big day at L.P. Frans Stadium today against the Hagerstown Suns. The 19-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led the Crawdads to a 11-3 triumph over Hagerstown. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Urbina said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Misael Urbina doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Adrián Villanueva in the 6th and hit a two-run single in the 7th. View Boxscore |
