Dyer Bashes 5 Base Hits Saturday, July 23rd , 2022 West Virginia Power second baseman Mike Dyer really lit up the Hickory Crawdads with a 5-hit barrage today at Appalachian Power Park -- a performance that sparked the Power to a 9-5 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game, saying "sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Mike Dyer tripled in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Dyer has collected 66 hits for the Power this year, 2 of them home runs.
