Ricketts Extends Hit Streak to 20 Games Monday, August 19th , 2024 Caleb Ricketts extended his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games today in the Hickory 7-4 triumph over the Hagerstown Suns. The 24-year-old Crawdads first baseman collected 1 hit in 4 at-bats. "Of course it's going to end," he said. "I'm just enjoying it until then." Caleb Ricketts struck out in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th and flied out in the 7th. This season Ricketts is batting at a .278 clip with 10 home runs and 53 RBIs. |
